Always Already New......

Reading, Lisa Gitelman's article enlightens me on the understanding the difference between Digitized and Digital. Digitized deals with media that cannot be changed or manipulated. Digital means media that can be changed or manipulated which gives opportunity for evolution of the media. The history of media is always expanding over time with new inventions. Media never really changes as a whole just the face of media or technology changes. We creates new ideas within the old ones. Technology keeps the same face but is yet changing. Media not only impacts us as Americans, but the world as a whole. It keeps us connected to friends, family and even our significant others that may be thousands of miles away. The media over time has not only improved in method or process but also in speed, keeping the world connected much faster than a telegram or letter sent through the mail. So lets watch as technology continues to produce better and better quality.
